Welcome to my website! I'm Jaclyn Miller, a full-time artist located in Seattle, Washington. I work primarily with paint and wood, though I also dabble in photography focusing on unique architecture, sculptures, and landscapes from my travels. I have visited many cities within the States, Europe, and South America and am continually inspired by the architecture, people, and incredible beauty of each culture. My wood art consists of a kaleidoscope of wood dyes and minimalist geometric arrangements to create pieces that accentuate the natural patterns and textures of wood. An eclectic mixture of new lumber, repurposed wood, and specialty hardwoods ensures that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
I just recently got into stained glass, and my "Blank Canvas" piece actually got me a grand champion ribbon at the 2011 Washington State Fair. Thank you, Norman Rockwell!
